We feel very fortunate to have spent our first 6 years with John L. Scott Real Estate.  Working out of the Sherwood John L. Scott offices throughout that time, we’ve had the opportunity to serve our clients well in a changing real estate climate.

In 2005, when we signed on with John L. Scott Real Estate (at that time a corporately owned office) it was only within our first few months that Jason was awarded the John L. Scott Emerald Award.

In 2006, after Jason’s first full calendar year, he earned the Rookie of the Year Award for all of Oregon and SW Washington. He was awarded #1 Producing Agent for the Sherwood John L. Scott office and the Presidents Elite Award which he also received in 2007.

As the market changed drastically In 2008, 2009 and 2010 The Gardner Teams business continued to grow.  Year-over-year (and after being purchased by the Market Center franchise) we continued to invest more in our business and our clients success excelled.  As a result of our high-level sales, Jason had the distinct honor of being awarded TOP 1% three years in a row — the highest honor awarded by John L. Scott Real Estate, consisting of more than 2,700 agents at that time throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Throughout these three consecutive years, Jason also was awarded for being Sherwood John L. Scott’s #1 Producing Agent.

Over the last couple years, Sherwood John L. Scott has been locally owned and operated by the Market Center franchise. The owners, Patti and Steve Schmitz also have under their umbrella Hillsboro, Forest Grove and Carlton Market Center locations. We’ve enjoyed being part of a local, family owned operation.  The Market Center franchise maintained keeping the Sherwood John L. Scott office open by relocating the original branch from its location within Sherwood.  They recently announced that effective July, 2011 they would be transitioning agents to a mobile friendly model in order to adapt to the changing real estate market.

While we were graciously presented with the opportunity to remain with John L. Scott Market Center and open a mobile office in Sherwood of our own, the Sherwood John L. Scott office closure also opened a number of doors for us.

After an extensive evaluation of our business plan and in-depth collaboration with respective leaders in our industry, Jason spent several weeks interviewing some of the areas best real estate companies. Carefully taking into consideration our commonalities and shared goals, we focused our attention core values that are of paramount importance to us: customer service, business philosophy, company stability, leadership, experience, caliber of agents, teamwork, reputation, market share, technology, community commitment and overall vision for the future.  Knowing we wanted to be a part of something bigger to better serve our clients, we were excited to find that and more with The Hasson Company.
